County Center, VA
County Center is located approximately 28 miles south of Washington, DC, in zip code 22192 along the I-95 corridor. It is bordered by Prince William Parkway, Hoadley Road, Dale Boulevard and Hillendale Drive.
The entrance of the community is professionally landscaped, and well maintained. There are also walking paths along Ridgefield Drive.
County Center has a community pool, fitness center, club house available for private parties, tot lots, tennis courts, sidewalks and walking paths. Pfitzner Stadium, home of the Potomac Nationals is located across the street. The Potomac Nationals are a minor league baseball team, play in the high-A Carolina League and are an affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Many residents are able to watch fireworks from their front porches or back decks after evening baseball games. Also located across the street is Old Hickory Golf Club, a premier upscale golf course, wedding and banquet facility. It boasts a par-72, 7,190-yard championship layout. Old Hickory Golf Club is a challenging course with lots of creeks to cross and sights to see, but it is also a course that all levels of golfers enjoy playing. It is a self-contained neighborhood with a restaurant, bank, salon and spa, fitness club, dry cleaners, and medical professionals.
Within driving minutes of County Center are Chinn Aquatics and Fitness Center, and Waterworks Waterpark/Andrew Leitch Park. Potomac Mills outlet mall, Wegmans, and Stonebridge are just minutes away. Stonebridge offers upscale shopping and fine dining.
County Center is easily accessible by car from I-95, including access from the EZ Pass/HOV lanes. The closest commuter parking is located at the corner of Minnieville and Old Bridge Road (Tackett’s Mill Commuter Lot), which is only six miles from County Center. Drivers can pick up “slugs” at this commuter lot or choose to ride the PRTC Omniride bus services to Washington, DC, Crystal City, and the Pentagon. The two closest Virginia Railway Express stations are Woodbridge and Rippon.
